Educational scope

Who we are

Nafsychology provides an educational map-language for psycho-spiritual refinement. The work begins publicly by clarifying Jungian typology and disciplined post-Jungian developments under explicit Islamic guardrails. Public pages provide orientation, selected Notes, and bounded explanations. Detailed diagrams, complete structural mappings, and certain organizing materials remain book-only until publication.

Some editorial revisions may be assisted by language tools. All judgments, claims, and responsibility remain with Nafsychology.

Educational scope only

Nafsychology is educational. It is not:

  • Psychotherapy, counseling, psychiatric care, or medical care

  • A diagnostic tool, psychometric instrument, or personality test

  • Crisis support, emergency services, or suicide prevention support

  • Fatwā, creed instruction, or a substitute for qualified Islamic scholarship

Nothing on this site, including posts, downloads, emails, or public talks, establishes a clinician-patient relationship, scholar-student relationship, or any other professional service relationship.

If urgent help is needed, contact local emergency services or qualified professionals. This project cannot provide crisis support or individualized clinical or religious rulings.

Theological limits and non-equivalence

Psychological typology provides provisional maps for self-observation. For Nafsychology, the Noble Qur’an and authentic Sunnah remain the higher measure for value, accountability, and refinement. Where divergence occurs, revelation governs. Where a psychological nuance is not explicitly named in revelation, we apply a minimum standard of non-contradiction and keep the language descriptive.

Nafsychology does not claim an ontological identity between psychological constructs and revealed categories; it notes limited resonances as analogies, and where empirical psychology and authentic revelation diverge, revelation governs.

For Professionals & Scholars: claims, limits, and citation guidance.

No tests, no typing, no guarantees

No tests, no typing, no scores

Nafsychology does not offer quizzes, scoring systems, automated typing, psychometric assessments, or function-rank calculators. The project resists test-culture harms such as false certainty, identity fixation, and using labels to excuse conduct.

Where formal instruments belong in clinical or research settings, they require qualified use and narrow claims. That is not the lane this project occupies.

No guarantees or outcomes

Nafsychology provides language, conceptual frameworks, and reflective prompts. It makes no guarantees about spiritual, psychological, relational, educational, or professional outcomes.

Examples are illustrative, not prescriptive. Application and interpretation remain the responsibility of the reader.
